Whilst cruising through my local markets at Peregian Beach yesterday, I came across the charming Monica Werner and her stunning home wares.
When we got talking, Monica told me a little about her life in Sweden, her previous corporate career, and her decision to make a sea change to satisfy her creativity and want for a better lifestyle.
What I noticed most about Monica's wares, (apart from being of immaculately good taste!) was the fabric she had chosen to create with. Natural flax linens, and thick herringbone in unbleached tones... my absolute favourites! These tea-towels and pillowcases certainly weren't skimping in quality by any means, and the loveliest part is that Monica makes each one by hand right in her own home.
